Talk Abstract:
In this research article a proposed controller will be utilized to search for the Maximum Power Point (MPP) based on presenting an adaptive fuzzy logic control agent, which is implemented into photovoltaic (PV) stations to search track and detect the MPP under dynamic weather conditions (irradiance, temperature). The proposed module is composed of boost converter, a fuzzy controller and load. To track the maximum power point MPP an adaptive MPPT perturb and observe (P&O) fuzzy logic agent will be introduced in this research to enhance the accuracy of detecting the MPP, eliminating the oscillation around that point to extract the maximum power (Pmax) and to use a variable steps size perturbation to locate the MPP which will allow for a faster response time to the changes of irradiance and temperature and an overall significant decrease in the oscillation as the Pmax is detected to increase the overall energy and subsequently the maximum power to be extracted from a PV system.
