The consumption of non-environmental friendly energy resources has doubled since the beginning of the century and demand growth has grown with the rapid development of the industry and telecommunications sectors. This has led to environment pollution and climate change, in response to the increasing demand for energy resources. It is necessary to have new efficient infrastructure for the production, storage, transportation and use of friendly energy. The International Conference on Smart Energy Systems (SES’20) aims at exploring applications of innovation and the latest research in the fields of smart energy systems, sustainable energy production, alternative and renewable energy supplies, energy saving analysis, improvement of energy processes, environmental impacts of energy production and environment sensing.
It is our pleasure to welcome you to the International Conference on Smart Energy Systems (SES’20), held online from 10-11 September 2020, Rome, Italy. The SES’20 international conference provides a forum for both researchers and industrials to present and share their latest findings in all aspects of Smart Energy Systems. This provides a unique opportunity to investigate the intersections and the inter-play of the various approaches and solutions developed across this domain. The conference solicits contributions of abstracts, full and short papers that address the main Energy topics. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Smart Energy Systems
- Safety and security
- Smart grids accompanying research
